County Re-Opening Plans, effective May 1, 2020, until further notice
May 1, 2020
To: Lawrence County Residents, Employees, and Supervisors
From: The Lawrence County Commissioners
Date: May 1, 2020
Subject: County Re-Opening Plans, effective May 1, 2020, until further notice
Governor DeWine has indicated that all industries should prepare their workplaces for future operations, and we in Lawrence County have been collectively doing that – and will continue to do so.
The county will continue to operate as it has for the last several weeks, while plans to re-open are finalized and protective measures for both the county employees, and those we serve, are put into place. The county faces the same market constraints as everyone else in trying to compete for sanitation and protective supplies. Having these supplies is critical to a safe and effective re-opening.
County services will continue in the same manner they have by using technology and drop boxes. Each of the county officials is continuing to put their plans together for their offices and those will be released as they are available, and go into effect. All citizens are urged to contact the specific office from which you need assistance either by phone or email, for specific instructions as we go through the next several weeks and begin the re-opening phase.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as all county offices continue to provide services to our constituents, in the most safe and efficient manner possible.
As more information is known, we will share that information.
