Winter Storm Information Reporting

In response to recent winter storms the Lawerence County Commissioners and EMA have created the following form to help you report problems such as utility outages, downed trees, flooding, etc. Please access the form by clicking the button below, completing the form, and clicking submit.

The Ohio National Guard has been activated by Governor Dewine to assist in clearing blockages on roads and waterways in order to speed the restoration of utilities and minimize potential future flooding due to runoff from ice and snow melt.

There are reports of fallen trees and utility lines. Main roads are mostly clear, secondary roads remain snow and ice-covered. Continue driving with added caution.

Please report utility outages to your utility provider through their website outage reporting pages – please, do not use 911 to report outages.

UPDATE: BOIL ADVISORY for HECLA Water system has been extended to Friday, February 26th at 9:30pm.

Please continue to conserve water if you are on the HECLA system. They continue working to build pressure up in the system. It takes longer if customers use large quantities while lines pressurize.

Please continue to check on your friends, family, and neighbors.  If you or someone you know has special medical needs (such as a need to get out for dialysis), contact the EMA at 740-237-1010 between 8a-6p or dial 614-338-6215; use 740-533-1319 from 6p-8a.

Below are direct links to the power companies serving our county. You can checking on current outages in our area and report new outages in your location.
