Lawrence County Children Services 2022 Poster Contest
Lawrence County Children Services is being held to help remind everyone that April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
Children in Kindergarten through 5th Grade who attend Lawrence County, Ohio schools are encouraged to submit their artwork through their school.
This year’s theme: “There is NO EXCUSE for CHILD ABUSE!”
RULES:
- Use 8 1/2 x11 paper
- Child’s Name, Age, and Grade must be written on the back of their poster
- Submission must be the child’s own work
- All artwork submitted becomes the property of Lawrence County Child Protective Services
- One winner will be selected for each grade countywide
- Winners will be recognized at the April Commissioner’ Meeting where their artwork will be on display
Deadline for submissions is February 28, 2022 (will be picked up on March 1, 2022)
PROJECT FIRST IMPRESSION
Project First Impression is a collaboration between the Lawrence County Commissioners and the Lawrence-Scioto Solid Waste Management District. This initiative brings together law enforcement, trustees, mayors, officeholders, and citizens to work as one and stop people from illegally dumping and littering throughout the county.
