Lawrence County Government Limits Access to Protect Essential Services from COVID-19 Outbreak
(Lawrence County – Ohio) Effective 8:00 am Thursday, November 12, the Lawrence County Commissioners, in collaboration with county elected officials, are limiting public courthouse access to appointment only until further notice. All county government offices will be changing operations back to virtual meetings, email, telephone, and physical mail until it is deemed safe to fully reopen.
At this time, most county government offices remain open and fully operational during normal business hours.
The Lawrence County Treasurer’s Office is currently closed to the public but remains operational.
The Lawrence County Prosecutor and Lawrence County Clerk of Courts offices are closed at this time.
The County Commissioners are requesting that those needing to conduct business at the courthouse to please call the appropriate office before visiting. Those who are not listed on the security roster will not be permitted to enter the courthouse at this time.
