THE BIG SPRING CLEAN

April 15, 2022

(3 minute read)

The Lawrence County Commissioners have organized a countywide cleanup competition and would like to invite you to participate.

THE BIG SPRING CLEAN is a litter collection, cleanup & beautification competition between communities through-out Lawrence County, OH. The objective of the initiative is to join together for one common goal-a cleaner place to live, work & play!

Project First Impression, a program of the Lawrence County Commissioners, is the lead sponsor of this competition. We have divided the County into three teams with Commissioner Holliday representing the western team, Commis-sioner Copley representing the central team and Commissioner Hayes representing the eastern team.

Upon completion of any cleanup or beautification efforts in your community we ask that you like our Facebook page (Project First Impression) and post pics/details-number of bags collected, number of participants, roadway miles cleaned, project description, etc.. This is how winners will be determined!

The competition will run through May 31st, as many townships will be offering Spring cleanup days for residents to properly dispose of items.

Winners will be announced during the first Commissioners meeting in June. Best of luck to all, and thank you in ad-vance for your participation and commitment to making Lawrence County shine!

Best Regards,

DeAnna Holliday, President

Colton Copley, Vice-President
